My maternal grandfather&#039;s surname is Smith, and since my mom&#039;s mother died when she was 2 yrs old, she literally doesn&#039;t know a soul on that side of the family. As a result, I have put off researching the Smiths in my family tree, but reading this post has motivated me to re-think my approach to finding those Smiths!]]></description>
