This should be very helpful. :) I never saw the first post, but I’ll go back and take a look.

Question: I have copies of some land records that involve my g-grandfather and others as “trustees”, but these records are in regard to church property. Until reading this post, I’ve always just assumed it meant that they were trustees of the church. Now, I’m not sure what to think. What do you (or anyone else reading this) think about that?
