I just sent daddy a Veteran's Day card celebrating his accomplishments as well. We sometimes tend to take these holidays for granted and hence negate our very own family contributions to the greater good. What a wonderful way to make history real, engaging and enlightening for ourselves and those yet to embrace their part of history as well. Thank you for this connection!
